Food Service Job Fair at Pascagoula Senior Center

The City of Pascagoula along with Main Street Pascagoula joined forces to make it easier for people to get their resumes in front of employers today by hosting a food service job fair.

Restaurants across the Coast have been short of workers due to the pandemic and many restaurants ultimately had to close down because of it.

Now that vaccines are being administered and things are returning back to normal many restaurants are in desperate need of workers. Pascagoula Public Information Officer Katarina Luketich said, “The restaurants that were here, they had their applications here. People were filling out applications on site, doing on site interviews, and potentially having the ability to be hired right on the spot. So, it’s really a one-stop shop for these restaurants to try to get some workers in their establishments.”

Those that could not attend the job fair can send an email to communityrelations@cityofpascagoula.com to get a list of restaurants along with all their contact information.
