Food drop in Gulfport Friday

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)-A food drop is happening Friday morning in Gulfport.

Starting at 11 a.m., Gulfport residents can head to the Good Deeds Community Center on Madison Street for a food distribution event.

Two truckloads of fresh food are expected to arrive; volunteers are asked to head out to help unpack and distribute food.

If you do want to volunteer, you are asked to arrive at the center by 8 a.m.
