Fly Llama Brewing helps dogs find forever homes

Fly Llama Brewing held its third annual Llama Project Charity Crawfish Boil Saturday.

The Biloxi brewery is helping dogs find their forever home, partnering with the Humane Society of South Mississippi for its ‘Claws for Paws’ event.

Guests feasted on more than 1,000 pounds of crawfish. Dogs were on-site and available for adoption. Plenty of folks showed up to socialize with the four-legged friends.

Colin Graves adopted a dog at the event. He says if it was not for his husband, he would not be going home with a new best friend. “We stopped by to look and see. We’ve been wanting to add a third dog to our home and this little guy came out of the cage and immediately went into my lap and onto his back. I think he found his home right then.”

All proceeds from the event will go to help the Humane Society of South Mississippi.
