Fixin’ the Coast offers vouchers for Harrison County residents

Biloxi, Miss (WXXV)- Cat owners in Harrison County lined the doors outside PetCo Monday.

All this for a discount on some important procedures for their furry family members.

Fixin the Coast held its Fix and Chips Voucher Event in Biloxi, offering quite the deal for Harrison County cat owners.

For $25, owners could pick up a voucher to be used at Coast Veterinary Hospital to spay or neuter their cat, microchip them, as well as receive a rabies vaccine.

Typically Fixin the Coast’s services are aimed towards stray cats, a new grant from the Gulf Coast Community Foundation offers spay/neuter vouchers for 200 pet cats in Harrison County.

Fixin the Coast says this grant is a big help, saying pet procedures can run up a bill.
