Five-car wreck leaves one person dead, multiple others injured

Biloxi, Miss. (WXXV)- Biloxi Police are sharing details about an early morning wreck that is causing lane closures on I-10.

The incident happened around 2 AM near Mile Marker 40.

Police confirm with WXXV the incident involved five vehicles, the westbound lane is currently closed.

One person is reported to have died at the scene while the extent of the other injuries is unknown at this time.

Police are saying they have no estimated time on when the scene would be cleared.
