Fitch, other attorneys general ask for AI guardrails
Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch’s office is warning tech companies to stop predatory AI interactions with kids.
Fitch has joined 44 other attorneys general in the U.S asking major AI companies to address reports of chatbots engaging in inappropriate conversations with kids.
A letter was sent to companies like Apple, Google, Meta, Microsoft, Open AI, and more.
The attorneys general are now urging AI developers to act with integrity and caution, especially when young users may engage with their products.
They also demand that company policies for AI products incorporate guardrails against sexualizing children.
