Fishing Rodeo held for Picayune Special Education students

PICAYUNE, Miss. (WXXV) – Special education students from the Picayune School District took part in the annual Fishing Rodeo, hosted by the Picayune Rotary Club. An event they look forward to every year. This year’s rodeo welcomed 60 students for a day of fun and fishing. Now in its 29th year, the Picayune Rotary Club is excited to be able to continue the beloved tradition.

This event is a fun way for the students to learn outside of a classroom setting and work on life skills.
