Fishbone Alley Wins National Award

Fishbone alley in downtown Gulfport is once again in the national spotlight.
The national main street center awarded the Gulfport chapter one of its annual “Innovation on Main Street” awards for their involvement in the fishbone alley project.
The innovation award recognizes Main Street America programs for successful initiatives that represent new approaches to an existing downtown revitalization challenge.
Gulfport Main Street was one of only four programs that received an award at the national conference that included 45 states and 16-hundred Main Street programs.
