Fish Frys around the Coast for the Lenten season
With the beginning of Lent means Fish Fridays! Many churches across the Coast offer seafood on Fridays during Lent.
St. James Catholic Church is just one that is serving up fish plates starting March 3rd. Dinners are available for $12 at the St. James Parish Center Gymnasium Fridays from 5 to 6 p.m. The plates are available for dine-in or carry out, but they invite everyone to join them in fellowship. Father Ryan McCoy said, “So, the fish fry provides an opportunity for the members of St. James Parish and the community to come together for fellowship during the season of Lent. And, our fish meals are the best on the Coast!”
