First-ever container food court comes to Mobile

Mobile’s first-ever food court made from shipping containers had its soft opening today.

It’s been nearly two years since the groundbreaking in 2021.

The food court is located on Dauphin Street between Jackson and Joachim Streets.

Five repurposed containers sit in an area that was a community garden, each offering a different menu.

Foods from macaroni and cheese, barbecue, pasta, and Honduran cuisine is offered.
