First Coast March of Babies Event to be Held April 25th

Family teams, company teams, and friends from Jackson, Hancock, and Harrison Counties will come together as a Coast to walk for stronger, healthier babies. The walk will raise money for babies right in the Coast community. The event will take place April 25th at Jones Park.

Jennifer Parker, Disvision Director, says, "Mississippi has the highest rate of babies that are born pre-term. We also have the highest rate of babies that will die before their first birthday. Education is huge. Getting the word out about our mom and baby mobile unit that offers free and low cost pre-natal care to moms in need. Currently, it sees 168 moms across the Gulf Coast and those services are provided by the March of Dimes and money that is raised here locally."
