Firework Sales

Tomorrow night at the strike of 12, the sky will be glittering with fireworks lighting up the New Year.
Fireworks businesses have been open all week, ready for customers who are looking to ring in the New Year with a bang. Some say the inclement weather has slowed sales over the past week but all are stocked up and ready for the crowds that are expected to rush in at the last minute tomorrow. Lawlers Fireworks Tent Supervisor Paul Brueckner said, “Everybody will come in a rush after they get off work and crowd us and hopefully we’ll have a really good season. Hopefully, the weather holds out a little bit more, a little bit of rain here and there. Hopefully everybody will come out and have a good time.”
Most firework businesses will be open through New Year’s Eve but say to expect long lines over the holiday as they see about 90 percent of their sales the day of.
