Firefighters take part in county wide training in Stone County

STONE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Wiggins Fire Department and the Stone County Fire Service teamed up for a countywide training session.

Firefighters came together to practice water shuttle operations and drafting operations, including how to establish and maintain a water supply from sources other than a hydrant.

The two organizations work closely together to make sure Stone County stays safe and citizens get the help they need.

Both agencies also say training together helps ensure that when the departments meet, both teams are always familiar with the same operations and equipment.
