Final call to donate supplies to Biloxi PD for Kentucky tornado victims

The Biloxi Police Department is making its final call for donations for those affected by the tornados in Kentucky late last year.

The department is asking for cleaning supplies and non-perishables for the victims. Items can be dropped off until Saturday, January 15th at the Biloxi Police Department at 170 Porter Avenue.

Collection boxes will be labeled and placed in the foyer of the station. The donations will be taken to the relief area the following week. Biloxi Police Captain Milton Houseman said, “We wanted to reach out and try to help those folks, because so many people had helped us in the past, post-Katrina. So, we went through Bowling Green, because we had some connectivity with that police department and that police chief, and tried to find out what we could do as an agency to help out the folks in that community.”

Donation boxes will be in the lobby during normal daytime hours to the left of the entrance.
