Final BP Town Hall Meeting Tomorrow

Tomorrow is your last chance to voice how you think state legislators should spend BP oil spill disaster money in a public forum. This will be the third and final town hall meeting hosted by Lieutenant Governor Tate Reeves.
The hope is to get input from Coast residents on how they think the $150 million to be allocated this year should be used. In total, Mississippi will receive $750 million for the state’s general fund spending over the next 15 years.
Lieutenant Governor Tate Reeves has been vocal he believes it should stay in South Mississippi where the damage occurred. This final town hall meeting will be on Gulf Coast’s Jackson County Campus. It will start at 2 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
