‘Fill the Boot’ donation drive rescheduled
The weather has caused the Biloxi firefighters to reschedule their mission to ‘Fill the Boot’ to continue next week.
Biloxi firefighters were out in full force at three city intersections, including the one at Porter Avenue and Highway 90, to collect money and donations to ‘Fill the Boot’ with proceeds going to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
But the weather hasn’t held out and been accommodating for what was planned as days two and three of the three day drive with yesterday and today’s planned collections being moved to next week instead.
Look for firefighters to be posted at Biloxi intersections next Monday, November 4th and Tuesday, November 5th. Firefighters will be collecting donations at the same times and locations next Monday and Tuesday.
