Feud Between Co-Workers Ends In Gunshots
A feud between co-workers at manufacturing company in Marshall County ended with one having to be airlifted to a hospital and the other a fugitive on the run.
Police say two workers at a plant that makes armored vehicles got into a fight.
One of them, identified as Lamont Burchette, went to his car to get a gun. He then shot the other employee multiple times in the head and body. That victim was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition.
Burchette then fled the scene in a 2012 gray Jeep Liberty headed toward Nashville.
Authorities say he’s considered armed and dangerous.
