Female remains identified, husband wanted in Pearl River County

Investigators are still on the lookout for a Pearl River County man.

They say they’re upgrading charges against 61-year-old Charles Bowman to murder after concluding remains found in his home are his missing wife. Pearl River County Deputy Coroner Albert Lee says experts identified the body as 61-year-old Kathleen Bowman on Monday. She was last seen by her children on Mother’s Day.

Investigators believe her husband, Charles, was involved in her death, but they have yet to determine an official cause of death.

Charles Bowman may be traveling in a white 2006 Nissan Maxima with a handicapped Mississippi tag. If you know his whereabouts the sheriff’s department asks you to call at 601-798-5528.
