Felony Shoplifting

Two Jackson County residents are charged with felony shoplifting after allegedly stealing from three Dollar General stores.
Fifty-two year-old Alan Sellers and 40-year-old Monica Montgomery allegedly stole merchandise from the stores on Highway 63, 613, and 614. Sheriff Mike Ezell says the two went into the stores, loaded up the buggy and ran out. The crimes occurred over three days in late November. The three Dollar General stores were previously robbed by two separate suspects earlier in the year.
Sellers and Montgomery are both jailed, awaiting an initial court hearing.
