Felony Fleeing Arrest

A Tennessee man is behind bars in Harrison County after leading deputies on a high speed car chase over the weekend.
Authorities say deputies attempted to stop Zachary William Brown in Pass Christian.
Brown was a suspect in a hit and run.
Brown fled from law enforcement and a pursuit ensued.
The pursuit continued onto the interstate where speeds reached over 100 miles per hour.
During the pursuit, brown came to a stop, rammed a patrol car, and then fled again.
Eventually deputies were able to stop the car after deploying stop strips.
Brown crashed his car on Firetower Road near the I-10 off ramp and attempted to flee on foot, but was arrested by a Harison County Sheriff’s K-9.
Brown was transported to Memorial Hospital for his injuries.
He’s now in the adult detention center charged with felony fleeing as well as several misdemeanor charges.
