Felony Domestic Assault

A man is behind bars accused of hitting his girlfriend in the head with a glass bottle while she was asleep. 36 year-old Carlos Lee is charged with a felony count of aggravated domestic assault. Investigators with the Harrison County sheriff’s department say Lee struck the victim with a 32 ounce beer bottle then fled the scene on foot. The victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for a laceration that required six staples. Lee is being held on a 175 thousand dollar bond.
