Felony Domestic Assault

A man is being held on charges tonight, accused of hitting his girlfriend in the head with a glass bottle while she was asleep.
Thirty-six year-old Carlos Lee is charged with a felony count of aggravated domestic assault. Investigators with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department say Lee struck the victim with a 32 ounce beer bottle then fled the scene on foot.
The victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for a laceration that required six staples.
Lee was booked and is being held on a $175,000 bond.
