‘Feed the Block’ Fish Fry to help Moss Point tornado victims

Organizations partnered with the City of Ocean Springs to feed the block and assist tornado victims.

The event, held in front of First Missionary Baptist Church, attracted both storm victims and volunteers from the wider community.

The fish fry aimed to not only provide a nourishing meal, but also promote togetherness and support those affected by the tornado.

Reverend Kevin Henry highlighted the importance of unity during this challenging time. “This is an opportunity for all of us to display unity. One of the common themes here is ‘together we can’ and I believe that together if we’re unified in the one, that’s the spirit we can be able to demonstrate the human spirit and display the Christ-likeness that God wants for his church in this last day.”

The City of Ocean Springs, who hosted the event, would like to thank everyone who played a part.
