Feed the Needy Christmas Deadline

If you need some extra help with your holiday meals, law enforcement agencies across the Coast are here to help.
The deadline for residents to sign up to receive meals on Christmas Day is Monday. All you have to do is contact your local law enforcement agency in Harrison County so you can either pick up or get your meal delivered to you on Christmas morning.
Sergeant Joshua Bromen with Gulfport PD said, “Feed the Needy for Thanksgiving went really well. It was really great to see kids come home from college that have been doing this program with their parents, volunteering. You know it is part of their family tradition and they talked about ‘hey, I can’t wait until Christmas time.’ It’s something that these people look forward to all year round. It’s exciting.”
This is the 27th year for Feed the Needy which is held at the Lyman Community Center on Highway 49.
