Feed the Need Benefit Concert
Thirty volunteers got together in Ocean Springs to jam out at a cookout with the Feed the Need benefit concert and fish fry at the Government Street Grocery.
Volunteers prepped for the fifth annual event all week as bands played live music. Fried fish, shrimp, and dessert was served. There was even a train station for kids to ride and enjoy.
All proceeds benefit the Lord is my Help Soup Kitchen. Feed the Need Committee Member Susannah Snyder said, “I think for all of us, it means a lot to see a group of people in your community come together. We have a good time doing it. It’s fun for us. The Lord is my Help is right around the corner from us so we see how important it is here.”
The Lord is my Help Soup Kitchen feeds over 5,200 meals each month to those in need in our community.
