Feed my Sheep celebrates 40 years of operation on the Gulf Coast
The nonprofit Feed my Sheep is celebrating 40 years of serving the community along South Mississippi.
To celebrate, the organization held a party to honor the volunteers and donors who help keep Feed my Sheep running.
Guests listened to speakers discuss the growing success the team has had throughout its history while enjoying meals prepared by restaurants across the Coast.
After starting in 1983 in the kitchenette of a small church, Feed my Sheep has grown into a team of people who serve up to 400 meals a day. “Very excited to thank all these wonderful volunteers that without we can not make it happen day to day. It’s amazing the amount of support we get from the community.”
Feed my Sheep gets help from about 150 volunteers each week to feed the community.
