Federal Judge Removed

A judge in an eight-year, running lawsuit initiated by Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood has been removed.
The Clarion Ledger reports the Fifth US Circuit Court of appeals cited US District Judge “Henry Wingate’s” failure to rule on pending motion as to why he was removed from the case.
Hood has already commented saying reassigning this case to another judge was the only “viable” option given the time the case has been pending.
Hood’s suit claims the Entergy and its subsidiaries illegally manipulated the purchase and the sale of electricity to maximize profits.
The New Orleans based utility company has denied Hood’s claims.
