Fatherless and Widows Seeking Donations

Local group Fatherless and Widows is a charitable Christian organization with a mission to provide assistance to widows and families without a father figure.

The group, born of biblical scripture James 1-27, lends a hand with everything from yard work to providing financial assistance.

The non-profit helps the fatherless by taking them fishing, running and even to some sporting events.

Now fatherless and widows is looking for volunteers and donations for an event coming up in less than three weeks called the fathers heart event.

It’s a weekend retreat dedicated to widows an event, director Charles Wambolt, says has changed lives.
