Father Accused of Beating Son Indicted on Two Additional Felony Counts of Child Abuse
The father who was accused of beating his then three-year-old son, Zander, in 2016 is now facing two additional charges in the same case.
After considering the case, the Jackson County grand jury indicted 25-year-old Nathan Blake McCrory on four total counts of felony child abuse.
Sheriff Mike Ezell tells News 25 McCrory was arrested today at his job in Pascagoula and his bond is now temporarily revoked.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department initially charged McCrory with two counts of felony child abuse in July 2016 for allegedly beating and burning his son, Zander Saucier, in April 2016. Zander has since made a full recovery.
McCrory is now back at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center awaiting a court hearing on the additional two charges.
