The while Malibu was traveling north on MS 67 and crashed into the driver’s side of the red Cruze that was traveling west on Traditions Parkway.
Harrison County officials see fatal wrecks at this particular intersection far too often and are pleading with MDOT engineers to take action. Harrison County Fire Chief Pat Sullivan said, “We’ve had several accidents that there were multiple people that lost their lives. It’s time to address the issue. It’s time to look at it hard and say ‘are we missing something? Is there something there that maybe we could do differently?’ or maybe it’s time to put a traffic signal here.”
The identity of the female victim has not yet been released.
