Fatal motorcycle accident in Pearl River County

A two vehicle wreck in Pearl River County claimed the life of a Louisiana man. The accident happened around 11:30 yesterday morning.

Highway Patrol identified the man as Jason Poplin from Harvey, Louisiana.

A motorcycle traveling south on Highway 43 was passing another vehicle then collide with a 2001 Toyota 4Runner that was also traveling south and making a left-hand turn onto Nellie Burks Road.

Poplin was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, but later passed away.
