Fatal head on crash in George County

A two vehicle accident leaves one man dead in George County.
An 18-wheeler traveling on Highway 26 crashed head on with a Chevy Silverado that was traveling westbound. The man driving the Chevrolet pickup was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the 18-wheeler was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.
Neither driver was wearing a seat belt. There are no criminal charges expected in the investigation.
