Fatal crash on I-10 in Hancock County

The person that was fatally injured in the wreck on I-10 Saturday morning has been identified.

Hancock County Coroner Jim Faulk has identified the victim as 22-year-old Sheinque Wiggans of Jamaica.

The crash happened near exit 13. Bay St. Louis police responded to this crash around 7 a.m.  Wiggans was driving east bound on I-10 when she crossed the median and went straight into oncoming traffic, colliding head-on with an 18-wheeler traveling west bound.

The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured.
