Fatal accident victim identified

A Gulfport man has been identified as the person who died in the two vehicle accident in Stone County Thursday night.
Mississippi Highway Patrol officials say 39-year-old Omar Aranda died after the vehicle he was riding in was hit head on by a truck driven by an 86-year-old man. The accident happened on Highway 15.
Around 4:15, Aranda was pronounced dead on the scene. The two drivers were taken to local hospitals with moderate injuries.
