Fatal accident in Jackson County at the intersection of MS63 and MS614

On April 26, 2020 State Troopers responded to a crash at the intersection of MS63 and MS614-Wade Vancleave Road that claimed the life of a Jackson County resident.

Troopers said it appeared a motorcycle, driven by Terry Wayne Oswalt, a 64 year old resident of Moss Point was traveling south on MS63, when a Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by James Arthur Delaughter of Vancleave turned onto Wade Vancleave Road from MS63.

Both vehicles collided in the intersection. Oswalt died at the scene of the collison, Delaughter was transported to a local hospital.
