Fatal Accident in Pascagoula
The Pascagoula Police Department is investigating a single car fatality accident that occurred Wednesday at 11:23 a.m. The accident occurred in a parking lot off Jerry St’Pe Highway.
The driver was westbound in the parking lot and struck a roll back dumpster then struck a support beam on a building.
The driver was transported to Singing River Hospital by Huntington- Ingalls medical personal, where he later passed away.
Authorities are withholding identification at this time, pending notification of family members.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation by Officer Travis Dunsford of the Pascagoula Police Department.
