Fans cheer on Lady Bulldogs in Gulfport

State fans rallied together at Mugshots in Gulfport hoping their Lady Bulldogs would bring home the title.
Fans crowded Mugshots, excited after the Lady Bulldog’s historic win against UConn Friday night, looking to see them triumph over South Carolina.
News 25 spoke to several State fans who say even though they lost, it means a lot to them to witness their magical run. Mississippi State fan Chris Breard said, “Oh look, any time you have a state school, especially an SEC school, that has a chance to be in a national championship game and win it all, that’s good for them and good for the state.”
Even though the Mississippi State Lady Bulldogs fell to the South Carolina Gamecocks, their fans say they’re still proud of their efforts.
