False Shooting Rumors At Edgewater Mall

Over the weekend rumors of a shooting at Edgewater Mall spread quickly on social media.
The mall’s manager, Terry Powell, tells News 25 that the building did close early on Saturday night after an altercation. It’s since been confirmed that there were four separate fights that took place in the mall as closing time approached and because of the incidents the mall was closed early.
