Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational presents check to Make-A-Wish Mississippi

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- A South Mississippi golf tournament is making a big impact off the course.

Friday, organizers of the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational presented a check to Make-A-Wish Mississippi, turning competition into hope for children in need.

Tournament leaders presented a check to Make-A-Wish Mississippi, the official beneficiary of the 2025 Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational.

The third annual tournament brought together 14 of the nation’s top college golf programs including powerhouses like LSU Tigers men’s golf and Alabama Crimson Tide men’s golf who shared top honors.

But while the players competed for a title, the biggest winner was Make-A-Wish, an organization that creates life-changing experiences for children facing critical illnesses.

With plans already in place, the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational will return October 16 through the 19, promising even more competition and more giving back.
