EPA launches investigation into Jackson Water Crisis

The Federal Government is launching an investigation into the water crisis in Jackson.

The Environmental Protection Agency confirmed Sunday that a team with the Inspector General’s Office will be collecting data and conducting interviews.

The investigation will look into the history of Jackson’s troubled water system.

Despite a $42 million federal commitment, the city’s mayor said it is not enough money to meet the needs of Jackson’s challenges.
