Entertainment Districts Established in Biloxi
Today, Biloxi City Council voted unanimously on three entertainment districts where to-go cups are allowed.
The first area would encompass the historic district, beginning at IP Casino and wrapping around Back Bay to the beach front and then back to just past the I-110 loop. The second is right along the beach front from about Veterans Avenue to Debuys Road and a third will be in north Biloxi at Cedar Lake bridge. City Councilman Robert Deming said, “People can leave their venue with their drink not finished. It allows them to interact with other bars and other clubs and things. Of course, you’re still going to be restricted to the alcohol beverage control license and permitting issues but this does open up the ability for different venues to interact.”
The law will take effect on July 1st.
