Emergency lane closure issued in Gulfport

(Gulfport, Mississippi) – The City of Gulfport has issued an “Emergency Lane Closure” for a water main repair.

The westbound lane of East Taylor Road spanning from Waterside Boulevard to Brittany Court will be closed to traffic.

The eastbound lane will remain open to accommodate through traffic, ensuring minimal disruption to citizens and businesses along East Taylor Road.

The “Emergency Lane Closure” will take effect immediately and is expected to reopen Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 3:30 PM, weather permitting.

The City of Gulfport is asking all citizens to observe and follow all traffic markers placed in the area.
