Eighteen Gulf Coast volleyball programs competed in the second round of the MHSAA Volleyball playoffs

The Mississippi Gulf Coast was represented well in the second round of the MHSAA Volleyball playoffs.

18 teams along the six southern counties battled it out for the best of five matches in order to advance to the third round.

The high schools advancing to the third round of playoffs are Ocean Springs, Biloxi, Long Beach, George County, Hancock, West Harrison, Vancleave, East Central, Gautier, Poplarville, St. Patrick, Our Lady Academy, and Resurrection Catholic.
