Edbuild Presents Funding Recommendations Jackson

Private firm Edbuild has concluded their analysis of the Mississippi Public School System and will give their funding recommendations to state lawmakers today

Edbuild was hired over the summer to examine the Mississippi Adequate Education Program and see how it can be changed to best serve Mississippi students.
Republicans have said the current MAEP formula, only fully funded twice since it was created is broken.
Lawmakers are expected to come up with a new funding formula during this legislative session.
