Economic Vibe with MGCCC
The Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce and MGCCC teamed up today to highlight educational advances in the community.
Community and business leaders heard from MGCCC President Dr. Mary Graham during the chamber’s ‘Economic Vibe’ meeting at the college’s Jefferson Davis Campus.
Graham’s State of the College Address highlighted the college’s preparation for population growth on the Coast and the establishment of new programs designed to get students ready for the workforce. “We are looking at new opportunities in the community, community engagement, partnering with new folks, really trying to be innovative and that’s really the hallmark of Gulf Coast Community College, to think as an innovative institution and make sure we lay down programs that make sense for the community.”
MGCCC also highlighted the building of new dorms at the Perkinston campus and a focus on enhancing IT and cybersecurity programs.
