Eat wings, paint, and raise funds for Loaves and Fishes

Loaves and Fishes has been a staple in Biloxi for many years, helping out in the community. Now they need the community’s help.

Their current lease ends in December and they have no option but to close their doors. They are searching for a local building to lease/purchase.

This cannot happen unless they first find a location and then build up their financial resources to lease or purchase a permanent home.

To help reach their building fund goal, they are partnering with Buffalo Wild Wings in D’Iberville. When you mention Loaves and Fishes at Buffalo Wild Wings between 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 15th, 20 percent of the sales will be donated. Loaves and Fishes Executive Director Leslie Ramon said, “We hit our $50,000 mark that we were shooting for to start with. So, now our next is the $100,000 mark which was my original goal. After researching the buildings and going through everything, we need about two or three hundred thousand to be able to do it. We are actively looking for buildings. We want to stay in the east Biloxi area just because that’s where the need is.”

Loaves and Fishes will also have a D.I.Y. paint party in the party room inside the D’Iberville Buffalo Wild Wings to help raise funds. You can head over to Loaves and Fishes Facebook for more information.
