East Central running back named player of the year

The dream season for East Central Running back Tony Brown continued yesterday with yet another big award.
He’s been tabbed by USA Today as the offensive player of the year for the publication’s All USA Mississippi team.
Joining the Gatorade Player of the Year are his teammate and Mississippi State signee Brad Cumbest as well as Malcom Magee of Ocean Springs, D’Iberville’s Louis Paul Smith, and Enrique Whaley of Stone.
Brown was already named to USA Today’s All USA Team last week right around the time he finally received his first division I offer from Mississippi Valley State.
