Early report on this year’s oyster season

We’re a little more than a week into oyster season. Oyster fishermen bring in their harvest everyday at the Pass Christian Harbor.

Oyster reefs in the western Mississippi Sound have not been producing over the last few years, but indications are the reefs are making a comeback and so far, so good this year.

Director of Mississippi Commercial Fisheries Limited Ryan Bradley joins us with a report on the oyster season.
