Early morning shooting in Biloxi

Around 12 a.m. this morning, Biloxi police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of 310 Abbey Court at the Hidden Oaks Apartments.
When officials arrived on scene no victims were located however residents in the area reported seeing a person limping away from the scene. The victim was later located at a local medical facility with non-life threatening injuries. The victim is described as a 44-year-old black male.
According to officials, the male was shot during a verbal altercation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Biloxi Police Department at 228-392-0641.
