Early Morning Accident Injures One in Harrison County

One person is recovering after an early morning accident.
At around 5:30 this morning, a car hit an 18-wheeler near County Farm Road, south of the interstate. That road was shut down for over thirty minutes.
The driver of the car had to be extracted from the vehicle and he was transported to Garden Park Medical Center.
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
